Welcome to Tuckahoe Rebels Lacrosse!

About our Club

History
Tuckahoe Lacrosse Club, as it was originally named, was established in the fall of 2003.  Several parents of “lacrosse-craving” boys decided to start a team for boys at Tuckahoe Middle School.  Many of the boys were introduced to the sport through the Geronimo lacrosse program and wanted to continue playing with boys from their own school.  Although not officially connected to Henrico County Public Schools, thus was established the first school-based club lacrosse program in the county.  Tuckahoe Lacrosse Club added a girls team in the spring of 2005.  "Rebels" was later added to the club’s name to emphasize its connection to Freeman High School.  Much of the success of the boys and girls lacrosse programs at Freeman is attributable to Tuckahoe Rebels Lacrosse.

About
Tuckahoe Rebels Lacrosse is a 501(3)c, volunteer driven organization and is the only club in central Virginia at the public middle school level.  Our mission is to support the development of young boys and girls who aspire to continue playing lacrosse at the high school level for Freeman.

Tuckahoe Rebels Lacrosse fields two teams: a 6th/7th/8th grade boys team and a 6th/7th/8th grade girls team.  Each team is led by experienced coaches.  Players are expected to attend all practices and games unless excused in advance, give 100% effort and exhibit a positive attitude and good sportsmanship at all times.  Playing time is merit based and will be determined by the coach based on performance, effort and attitude.  Tuckahoe Rebels Lacrosse is a competitive club program and will approach every game to win.
